I'm Z, a creative technologist and artist currently pursuing a BFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design in NYC. My work sits at the intersection of AI-driven media, 3D spatial interfaces, and digital storytelling. I’m particularly interested in exploring the boundaries between physical reality and simulated environments through AI filmmaking.

Graduated from Shanghai University, majoring in Radio and Television Directing. Proficient in the entire workflow of film and television production, including production, directing, screenwriting, editing, and cinematography.Possesses extensive experience in short film creation, with works selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals. As an AI-focused video creator, my core identity revolves around crafting short, compelling stories powered by generative AI tools. My expertise lies in end-to-end AI video production—from initial concept development and prompt engineering, to generating visuals, editing footage, and composing matching AI soundtracks.

A key example of my work is a 48-hour challenge short film I created entirely with AI tools: I designed the characters and environments with AI image generators, animated scenes using text-to-video platforms, and scored the film with AI-composed music that matched the tone of each sequence. The final piece was recognized for its cohesive style and emotional storytelling, demonstrating my ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.

What sets me apart is my focus on blending technical precision with artistic intuition: I don’t just generate content, I curate and refine every detail to serve the story. I’m always exploring new AI workflows to elevate my work, and I’m eager to connect with other creators and bring unique, AI-powered stories to life.
